Trump said separately that his phone call with Ukraine’s leader was “very good” and that discussions were “on track.”
The Zelenskiy-Trump conversation comes a day after Russia’s Vladimir Putin told the US president he’d be willing to limit attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure as a first step but didn’t agree to the full ceasefire that Washington is pushing for.
