Six Easy-to-Grow Herbs That Will Get You to Flavortown, Fast
Add a pop of flavor to your snacks and drinks—and look good doing it
No average garnish, these herbs grow quickly, look great, and elevate the usual party fare.
This sun-loving herb is entirely edible, down to the roots. The tangy leaves are lovely on tostadas or in a mango salsa, and you can muddle them with jalapeños and lime for margaritas. Although this variety tastes much like supermarket cilantro, it stays leafy longer instead of going to seed during the heat of summer. Once bloomed, the flowers are a great garnish for vermicelli bowls. Sprout to table: 14–21 days
