Hunting Plc plans to cut a third of its European jobs as the supplier to oil and gas industries shifts focus to the Middle East amid expectations of weaker North Sea drilling.

The London-listed company is closing operating sites in the Netherlands and Norway and plans to consolidate its British activities at its Badentoy site, part of a Europe-wide cost cutting and restructuring program, according to its earnings report.
