US, India Trade Talks Are Moving Forward, Minister Says

Photographer: Sumit Dayal/BloombergThe US and India continue to talk despite strained relations after US President Donald Trump imposed tariffs on imports from the South Asian nation and threatened to slap penalties for buying Russian crude, a sign that the two nations are seeking to end a deadlock.
“Negotiations are still going on” and ties are not broken, India’s External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar said at a media event in New Delhi on Saturday.
