Ethiopia Appoints AfDB to Help Raise $10 Billion Airport Funding

Ethiopia appointed the African Development Bank to lead efforts to raise as much as $8 billion for the construction of what would be Africa’s biggest airport.
An agreement on the financing assistance was signed by Ethiopian Airlines Group Chief Commercial Officer Lemma Yadecha and AfDB President Akinwumi Adesina in the capital, Addis Ababa, on Monday.
