Orange SA said strong growth in Africa and the Middle East offset declines in France and allowed the telecom provider to slightly raise its outlook for the year.

Sales in the region grew 13% to €2.1 billion ($2.4 billion) when adjusted for currency fluctuations in the second quarter compared to the same period last year, the French phone service provider said in a statement on Tuesday. That was just over the average analyst estimate of €2.05 billion according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
