Apollo Hires From Goldman, Bank of America to Oversee Bank Partnerships

Apollo Global Management Inc. is bringing in more Wall Street talent to oversee an exclusive partnership with Citigroup Inc. and relationships with other banks as it hunts for more ways to deploy capital.

Alex Bavifard joined in May from Bank of America Corp., where he was a managing director for almost 12 years, to lead Apollo’s private credit collaboration with Citigroup, an Apollo spokesperson said. The firm also hired Lindsay Dreilinger, a former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. managing director in leveraged finance sales, to lead the US Bank Coverage team.
