Talks between delegations of Ukraine, Russia and Turkey started in Istanbul, according to live broadcast on Turkish TV channel TRT.

The negotiations take place as hopes to achieve a ceasefire in the three-year-long war fade after President Vladimir Putin sent a low-level delegation to talks in Turkey.
