Logistics company Rumo SA is seeking partners to expand its railway operations and transshipment terminals in Brazil, according to people familiar with the matter.
Brazil’s largest independent railway operator is in talks with investors, including international funds, to raise new money for expansion, said the people, asking not to be named as the talks aren’t public. Potential partners would take minority stakes in companies controlled by Rumo, the people said.
