Conduent Says Hackers Exfiltrated ‘Limited’ Client Files

Conduent Inc., a business processes service, said a hacker gained access to a “limited” portion of the company’s systems and stole files for some clients.

The Florham Park, New Jersey company said in a regulatory filing on Monday that an “operational disruption” occurred on Jan. 13. It was able to restore affected systems and return to normal operations within days or, in some cases, hours, the company said.
