UK Treasury Extends Startup Investment Incentives by 10 Years

The UK is extending two programs that offer tax incentives to invest in early-stage businesses as the government looks to encourage support for startups.

The Enterprise Investment Scheme and the Venture Capital Trust, which offer tax relief on capital gains on investments in smaller companies and startups, have now been extended by 10 years to April 5, 2035, according to a statement Wednesday from the Treasury.
