Australia has dropped a court case against X Corp. over a violent video showing a terrorist attack, in a win for site owner Elon Musk who framed it as a question of freedom of speech.

Australia’s eSafety Commissioner had ordered all social media outlets to remove the video from their platforms, which showed a stabbing attack on a Sydney-based bishop in April. However, while X geoblocked the video to make it inaccessible to Australian users, the footage remained on the platform.
