The Scottish government, led by outgoing First Minister Humza Yousaf, survived an opposition vote of no-confidence in his administration, as the ruling Scottish National Party continues its hunt for a new leader.

The devolved parliament in Edinburgh, led by the pro-independence SNP, voted against the Labour Party motion, parliamentary speaker Alison Johnstone told lawmakers in Edinburgh on Wednesday. As expected, the Scottish Greens voted with the government.
