George Gould, DLJ Banker Who Served Reagan, Dies at 94

George Gould, the former chairman of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette who helped New York City solve its financial crisis in the 1970s and served as U.S. Treasury undersecretary in President Ronald Reagan’s administration during the 1980s, has died. He was 94.

He died on April 26 at his home in Palm Beach, Florida, according to a death notice placed by Quattlebaum Funeral, Cremation and Event Center.
