Emory Hires UCLA Investment Officer to Manage Endowment

Srini Pulavarti, who runs the University of California at Los Angeles endowment, has been tapped to run Emory University’s $6.9 billion fund.

Pulavarti will assume the chief investment officer post on July 1, replacing Mary Cahill who stepped down last July Bloomberg Terminalafter leading Emory’s endowment for almost 17 years, according to a statement from the Atlanta-based school on Wednesday.
