BT Group Plc has suspended its two top executives in Italy while the company investigates an undisclosed matter, according to people familiar with the situation.

BT Italia Chief Executive Officer Gianluca Cimini and Chief Operating Officer Stefania Truzzoli were suspended earlier this week, pending the outcome of the probe, according to one of the people, who asked not to be named discussing an ongoing investigation. The Italian unit sells business services from BT’s Global Services unit.
