DBS Hires Standard Chartered’s Lam Chee Kin to Head Compliance

DBS Group Holdings Ltd., Southeast Asia’s largest bank, hired former Standard Chartered Plc official Lam Chee Kin as head of compliance.
Lam, who starts today, will report to Chief Executive Officer Piyush Gupta and join the group management committee, according to an internal memo obtained by Bloomberg. Edna Koh, a spokeswoman at Singapore-based DBS, confirmed its contents.
