Standard Chartered’s Asean Banks Analyst Said Leaving for Nomura

Jaj Singh, Standard Chartered Plc’s head of equity research on Southeast Asian banks, is leaving to join Nomura Holdings Inc., according to two people with knowledge of the matter.
Singapore-based Singh is on gardening leave until the end of November, said one of the people, who asked not to be identified, citing confidentiality. He will join Japan’s biggest brokerage in a similar role in December, starting with coverage of Singapore and Indonesian lenders, the person said.
